About the studio

GS Photos is a one-operator capture studio based in St. Louis, run by Gerard Shaughnessy — photographer on the ground, FAA Part 107 certified pilot in the air.

The studio exists because most projects don't split neatly into “photography” and “drone work.” A listing wants interiors and an aerial boundary shot. A construction project wants progress photos and a measurable orthomosaic. A family wants the session and a print that survives the decade. One operator who does both ends means one schedule, one standard, and one person accountable for the result.

Every engagement runs the same way: planned in advance (light, airspace, shot list), shot with backup gear, and delivered fast — listings in 24 hours, headshots in 48 — with everything archived so the file you need next year still exists.
